President’s Letter – October 2020

President’s Letter – October 2020

Chefs, Cooks, Colleagues, and Friends,

It’s been a different year so far for everyone. Chefs and restaurant employees have truly experienced a hard and challenging time over the past 6 months.

Gulf to Lakes along with all chapters have had to step back with meetings and so many events.
Since my joining this chapter over 15 years ago it has been like a family to me and many other members.
As with many of you through this difficult time we often become complacent and withdrawn.

Today we are living in a different world in our industry in politics and our personal lives. Know we do not have to be alone and together can build a brighter future.

Through much effort we will hold our first in person meeting October 26th at 5:00 Pm.

The meeting will be outside at Dirty Dog Organics in Leesburg. The farm has graciously opened their beautiful land so we can begin to start fresh like their produce.

We will have some food to share with extreme caution for your safety. There will be a tour of the farm with their new hydroponic garden and green house.
Please join us in this safe environment.
When social distancing isn’t possible please wear a mask for respect to others.

I’m excited to fellowship with others and share knowledge together as professionals.
For this meeting please let me know if you will be coming for numbers.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone and share our future plans.

John G Bell C.E.C.
