Happy Hanukkah!

Happy Hanukkah!

       Happy Hanukkah!

HanukkahSunday, December 6th is the first night of Hanukkah.  Hanukkah is known as the festival of lights and  is observed by the kindling of the lights of a unique candelabrum, the nine-branched menorah , one additional light on each night of the holiday, progressing to eight on the final night. The typical menorah consists of eight branches with an additional visually distinct branch. The extra light, with which the others are lit, is called a shamash and is given a distinct location, usually above or below the rest. This year Hanukkah this year is celebrated beginning in the evening of Sunday, December 6 and ends in the evening of Monday, December 14.   We want to wish our friends that are celebrating an Happy Hanukkah!
