Update on Chef John Bells’ Health

John BellChef John Bell, CEC underwent a heart cath on Tuesday night April 24th to check for any blockage that were causing him to feel ill. Upon finding two blockages, one at 70%, one at 65%, three stints were installed in a major artery in his heart. His doctor joked that he now has what they call in the business a “full metal jacket.” He came through the surgery very well and was released from the hospital the following afternoon. He is recovering at home and plans to return to work on Monday in better health to embark on more adventures soon. John is grateful for all of his friends, family, and his colleagues’ prayers for recovery; also his doctors and the staff at Leesburg Regional Medical Center for their expertise. John considers himself “very blessed.”
