uf Chef Volunteers Needed to Assist with Low-Cost Food Demos in Your Community

The University of Florida IFAS Extension Family Nutrition Program is looking for chef volunteers to help demonstrate cooking and food prep techniques to SNAP (food stamps)-eligible participants throughout Florida. Volunteers work with program staff to conduct demos in local farmers markets, schools, community centers and food pantries. This is a great way to connect with your community and help participants learn to cook delicious, affordable and nutritious meals at home.
